Our approach to trust

You own your data. You control who can see it. Our system is designed to help you secure your data, not to take ownership away from you

A man in glasses next to three promises: not used to train AI models, never sold, transparent by design

Privacy and data ownership

Content safety and compliance

  1. 01

    Independent reviews

EQUS is actively pursuing SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001, the independent reviews of how we handle security, availability, and confidentiality, and we will publish each here as it is earned

SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001, both in progress
  2. 02

    Privacy with boundaries

Privacy and control are core to EQUS. They are not a cover for abuse. Some things are wrong for everyone, and no privacy promise changes that

Your data, owned by you: private and not shared
  3. 03

    Prohibited without exception

The clearest line is child sexual abuse material. It is illegal, prohibited without exception, and no setting changes it

    Prohibited content is blocked
  4. 04

Enforced at the model and platform layer

We enforce this at the model and platform layer. We build on Amazon Bedrock, which blocks this content and reports it to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children as the law requires, and the foundation models we run refuse it on their own

The model layer refuses, the platform layer blocks and reports, reporting goes to NCMEC

Under our control

Systems that handle your data are under our control, even when the infrastructure or software, such as AI models, are not owned or created by us

  • Carefully selected

We carefully select the systems we use to handle your data

  • Audited & monitored

We audit and monitor these systems as part of our commitment to your privacy

  • Authorized access only

Your data stays under our control unless you authorize otherwise
